Vidya Rajappa, CFA, is a vice president, senior portfolio manager and head of portfolio management, Multi-Asset Strategies, for American Century Investments®.
Ms. Rajappa serves on the investment team overseeing the firm's asset allocation strategies. She also attends meetings of the American Century Investments' Asset Allocation Committee, which is responsible for establishing investment policy and reviewing investment decisions for all asset allocation products.
Ms. Rajappa joined American Century Investments from Alliance Bernstein, where she was senior vice president, multi-asset solutions and a senior member of its defined contribution research and investment design team. In her previous role as director of quantitative research in global analytics at Alliance Bernstein, she was responsible for the design and support of analytics, globally, across product groups and asset classes. Prior to joining Alliance Bernstein, Ms. Rajappa served as vice president and manager of JP Morgan Investment Management's quantitative analytics group.
Ms. Rajappa holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from PSG College of Technology in India and a master's degree in statistics and operations research from New York University. She is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Institute.
