Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners

Mr. Muckel is a partner at Perella Weinberg Partners and leads the public equity and fixed income efforts on the Agility platform. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Muckel was the chief investment officer for Baylor University. He was charged with overseeing the day-to-day investment practices and operations of the endowment.

Before joining Baylor, Mr. Muckel held the role of senior portfolio manager with the University of Colorado Foundation, where he was jointly responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and monitoring of the Foundation's $1 billion in assets. Previously, Mr. Muckel was vice president and senior director for public markets at Qwest Asset Management Company, where he was responsible for managing over $10 billion in public market and liquid alternative investments for the company's defined benefit assets. Prior to Qwest, he held various positions as a fixed income portfolio manager and investment specialist. Mr. Muckel earned a bachelor's degree in finance with honors from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in business administration from the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver. Mr. Muckel is a CFA® charterholder.
