David Byrns, CFA, is a portfolio manager and senior investment analyst for American Century Investments®.

Prior to that, he was an equity research analyst with London Company Investment Counsel, LLC. Previously, he held roles as an equity analyst at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management and an associate equity research analyst at Fifth Third Asset Management.
He has worked in the investment industry since 2008.
Mr. Byrns holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Dayton and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
