Jamie Downing

As Global Head of Institutional Distribution, Jamie has responsibility for overseeing all institutional activities for American Century Investments®. He is also responsible for managing the London office and has oversight of American Century’s other non-US offices in Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Sydney. 

Prior to his current role Jamie was Managing Director, Head of EMEA and was responsible for all client activities - Institutional and Intermediary – for the firm across the region.

He joined American Century in 2012 as vice president, International and head of Intermediary across EMEA. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Russell Investments in several leadership roles, including creating and leading its U.K. Wealth Management business and managing the Consultant Relations team in London. Mr. Downing began his financial services career at Hargreaves Lansdown as a pensions implementation manager, later becoming a corporate pension consultant.
