Diane Gallagher is Senior Vice President and Co-Chief People Officer, leading HR strategy with Co-Chief People Officer Sarah Cossa. Ms. Gallagher, based at the firm's global headquarters in Kansas City, Mo., is a member of the Expanded Management Committee and leads employee experience and relations, learning and development and community engagement.

Originally joining American Century Investments® in 1995, Ms. Gallagher has led value-add programs for the firm with a particular emphasis on retirement content. Previously, she led product marketing for J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services. Prior to 1995, Ms. Gallagher served as media relations manager for the Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA). She also worked in corporate communications and marketing for Sinai Health Care System in Detroit. Her background in client experience offers a unique perspective on employee engagement.

Ms. Gallagher earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Detroit. She is accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She is a Board member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Children's Mercy Hospital and the Center for Practical Bioethics. A 2019 graduate of the Greater KC Chamber's Centurions Leadership Program, she is past President of the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City and serves on its Advisory Board. A frequent financial services industry speaker, she holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.
