We're always looking for exceptional team members.
A superior benefits and rewards program is an essential part of our commitment to our employees.
American Century Investments® is guided by core values that shape the way we conduct our business. These have been in place since 1958, when James E. Stowers Jr. founded the company, and they have not changed. These values include a strong commitment to helping others and building a strong community.
In 1994, Jim and Virginia Stowers decided to give back something more valuable than money. As cancer survivors, they looked for a way to improve the quality of others' lives. They founded and endowed the Stowers Institute for Medical Research —one of the most innovative biomedical research organizations in the world. As a company, we echo the Stowers' model of giving something "more valuable than money" by strategically focusing its giving—we give where our employees give their time, talents and financial support.
The American Century Investments Foundation, established in 2000, is overseen by a board of directors that establishes guidelines and priorities for the Foundation and makes all grant decisions on behalf of the Foundation. A portion of the Foundation's grants are awarded through the Dollars for Donors program, and a portion through a twice-yearly application process.
In 2016, through both of these programs, the Foundation granted over $1.5 mission to non-profit organizations in the communities where employees live and work.
