Zero Coupon 2025 Fund Honored at 2019 Lipper Awards

March 12, 2019 - Kansas City, Mo.

American Century® Zero Coupon 2025 Fund was recognized at the 2019 Lipper Fund Awards from Refinitiv, formerly the Financial and Risk business of Thomson Reuters. Within Lipper's General U.S. Treasury Funds classification of 11 portfolios, the fund was honored for its three-year performance over the period ending November 30, 2018.

For more than three decades, the awards have recognized funds and fund management firms for their consistently strong risk-adjusted three-, five-, and 10-year performance relative to their peers. Based on Lipper's quantitative, proprietary methodology, the awards reflect a "truly independent and uncompromised assessment of fund performance," according to Lipper. The 2019 U.S. awards were presented on March 7 at a ceremony in New York.

American Century Zero Coupon 2025 Fund assets under management are $142.5 million as of Feb. 28, 2019.
