Jonathan Thomas has served as president and chief executive officer of American Century Investments® since 2007. As the company's highest-ranking executive, Mr. Thomas, who also leads the firm's management committee, is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing American Century Investments' strategic vision, mission and overall direction. Mr. Thomas reports to and is also a member of the firm's Board of Directors.

Mr. Thomas joined American Century in 2005 as chief financial officer and executive vice president and a member of the American Century Companies Board of Directors. As CFO/EVP, Mr. Thomas' core responsibilities included overseeing the firm's financial, portfolio accounting, retail sales, audit and administrative functions. Mr. Thomas has also served as the chief investment officer for the company.

Prior to joining American Century, Mr. Thomas was global chief operating officer for Morgan Stanley's Investment Management division in New York City. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Thomas also served as president of Morgan Stanley Trust Company, chief administrative officer in charge of Operations, Strategy and Products, and chief risk officer for Investment Management.

Mr. Thomas began his career in the asset management industry at Fidelity Investments and later held senior leadership positions at Bank of America, where he oversaw operations for both the asset and wealth management divisions of the bank and led a variety of acquisition/integration initiatives. He also served in senior roles at Boston Financial Data Services (BFDS), and First Data Corporation (FDC).

Mr. Thomas graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and earned a master's degree in business administration from Boston College. Mr. Thomas is a member of the Board of Governors at the Investment Company Institute and also serves on the Bio Med Valley Discoveries' Board of Directors. He is a past board member of the Kansas City Zoo and the American Royal.

Patrick Bannigan

Patrick Bannigan is executive vice president and chief financial officer for American Century Investments®, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Bannigan, who joined the company in 2012, is responsible for Finance, Investment Operations, Client Operations, Facilities & Real Estate and Information Technology. He also serves on the American Century Investments management committee, the firm's senior leadership team responsible for establishing and executing strategic priorities.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Bannigan was with RiverSource (now Columbia Management and part of Ameriprise Financial), where he served as president of RiverSource Funds and senior vice president and general manager of RiverSource Investments. In that role, he was responsible for managing the overall business, including the operational aspects of the investment management division. Previously, Mr. Bannigan was managing director and global head of product for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), where he oversaw the management and development of MSIM's retail and institutional product lines.

Earlier in his career, he served as president of Touchstone Investments, a third-party wholesale distributed and subadvised mutual fund provider. He also had experience with Evergreen Investments as director of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and product development.

Mr. Bannigan holds a bachelor's degree from Guilford College (Greensboro, N.C.) and a juris doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He also serves as a director on the board of the nonprofit organization: the "National Endowment for Financial Education" (NEFE).

Victor Zhang

Victor Zhang is co-chief investment officer and a senior vice president for American Century Investments®, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.

As co-CIO with G. David MacEwen, Mr. Zhang jointly leads the investment management function, sharing responsibility for the firm's investment culture, performance processes, resource allocation and talent development. Together, the co-CIOs manage approximately 150 investment professionals based in Kansas City; Mountain View, Calif., New York City and London. He also oversees the equity discipline teams who have day-to-day responsibility for the Global & Non-U.S. Equity, U.S. Growth Equity (Large Cap and Mid & Small Cap), U.S. Value Equity and Disciplined Equity & Asset Allocation capabilities.

Mr. Zhang joined American Century Investments from Wilshire Funds Management in 2014. During his eight years at Wilshire, Mr. Zhang served in a variety of roles, most recently president and CIO. In his role as president, Mr. Zhang was responsible for the business unit's overall strategic direction and investment platform, while as CIO, he led investment activities, including manager searches and portfolio management. He also was in charge of investigating new markets and oversaw the research and evaluation of new products for the firm.

Previously, Mr. Zhang served as director of investments and held other senior investment positions with multi-family office firm Harris myCFO Investment Advisory Services, a subsidiary of Bank of Montreal. Earlier in his career, Mr. Zhang was a consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP. He earned a bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

G. David MacEwen is co-chief investment officer and senior vice president for American Century Investments®, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.

As co-CIO with Victor Zhang, Mr. MacEwen jointly leads the investment management function, sharing responsibility for the firm's investment culture, performance processes, resource allocation and talent development. Together, the co-CIOs manage approximately 150 investment professionals based in Kansas City; Mountain View, Calif.; New York City and London.

In 2001, Mr. MacEwen was named CIO, Fixed Income, a role he maintains in addition to his co-CIO responsibilities. As CIO, Fixed Income, Mr. MacEwen leads the company's global fixed income operation, which includes U.S. and Non-U.S. capabilities in the areas of government bonds, corporate debt, municipal bonds and money market funds. He also is chair of the firm's Global Macro Strategy Team and the Asset Allocation Committee.

Mr. MacEwen joined American Century Investments in 1991 and has worked in the financial industry since 1982. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of portfolio management for Provident Institutional Asset Management Corporation (currently BlackRock Advisors, LLC). Previously, he was a trust investment officer for Bank of Delaware (currently PNC Wealth Management).

Mr. MacEwen holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston University and a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Delaware. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Security Analysts of San Francisco. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Blair Academy in New Jersey.

Phillip N. Davidson is a chief investment officer, senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for American Century investments®, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Davidson, who joined the company in 1993, oversees the teams that manage the company's value equity portfolios. He is a member of the Investment Oversight Committee, Products & Markets Committee and the Investment Management Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining American Century Investments, Mr. Davidson was vice president and equity portfolio manager for Boatmen's Trust Company in St. Louis. During his 11 years at Boatmen's, he specialized in the management of institutional equity accounts using a value-oriented investment style. He has worked in the financial industry since 1980.

Mr. Davidson holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in finance from Illinois State University. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.

Richard Weiss

Richard Weiss is chief investment officer - Multi-Asset Strategies, senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for American Century Investments®.

Mr. Weiss oversees the team that manages the firm's multi-asset strategies, including the One Choice Portfolios® (Target Risk and Target Date), Strategic Allocation, Global Allocation and investments offered in the Learning Quest® 529 Education Savings Program. He also serves as a member of the American Century Investments' Asset Allocation Committee, which is responsible for establishing investment policy and reviewing investment decisions for all of our multi-asset products.

Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Mr. Weiss was executive vice president and chief investment officer of City National Bank, where he was responsible for the bank's investment management group and directed investment policy and strategy. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief investment officer at Sanwa Bank California, where he managed all aspects of their investment department. Earlier in his career, Mr. Weiss held senior investment positions at Vantage Global Advisors, TSA Capital Management, PaineWebber and Mellon Bank.

A member of the investment industry since 1984, Mr. Weiss holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has authored several academic papers and is well known for his advanced work in the field of global investing.

Vinod Chandrashekaran, Ph.D. is chief investment officer - Disciplined Equity, senior vice president and portfolio manager, and director of quantitative research for American Century Investments®.

Dr. Chandrashekaran is responsible for the firm's quantitatively managed disciplined equity product suite, which includes strategies designed to produce superior risk-adjusted returns relative to their benchmarks. He also serves as a member of the American Century Investments' Asset Allocation Committee, which is responsible for establishing investment policy and reviewing investment decisions for all of our multi-asset products.

Previously, Dr. Chandrashekaran was with BlackRock/BGI and served in a number of senior leadership positions. Since 2010, Dr. Chandrashekaran has been the head of risk management for the firm's Quantitative Equity and Global-Macro strategies. Other roles have included head of implementation research for BGI's Quantitative Active Equity teams and head of the U.S. Large Cap Equity portfolio management team. Prior to that, he worked with Barra Inc., where he served as head of equity research.

Dr. Chandrashekaran holds a B.Tech (bachelor of technology) in electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras, India) and a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta, India). He earned a master's degree and Ph.D. in finance from the University of California at Berkeley.
